I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
